The Anti-Human Trafficking Department (AHTD) is established by the Anti-Human Trafficking No. 11 of 2008 as amended by Act No. 16 of 2022. The AHTD is in the Ministry of Home Affairs and Internal Security and is responsible for the administration of the Anti Human Trafficking Act No. 11 of 2008 under the general direction of the Permanent Secretary.
