The is responsible for developing and maintaining a Trafficking In Persons database in order to facilitate storage, access and retrieval of information.

The Unit shall perform the following specific functions:

1. Collect and analyze TIP data in order to share verified information related to trafficking in persons;
2. Develop and maintain the TIP database for easy access and retrieval of information;
3. Develop data collection tools in order to enhance the quality of data collection;
4. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statistical TIP bulletins;
5. Facilitate the provision of capacity building to front line officials on TIP data;
6. Facilitate the development of information, education and communication materials on Human Trafficking in order to create awareness.
